Satchi (they/them)

Music

Satchi (they/them) is a gender-bending self-identified "silly guy" who enjoys playing with fluidity -- of gender, age, & Time -- poured into the container of capitalism and climate crisis. In a life shaped by climate anxiety and capitalism's crushing coercion to homogenize, Satchi moves us through grief and into self-discovery through music.

Volcanera

Cristina Medrano (they/she)

Music, Visual Arts

Cristina is a queer multimedia artist, burgeoning musician, and diasporic tropical flower. As Volcanera, she channels her ancestral understandings of death and transformation into an offering of music that they hope will make you dance with your friends and put down whatever burden is too much for you to carry alone.

Volcanera’s collaborating artists:

Julien Stainback (@demse.0): Julien centers duality in his art and music. Dark reflections of the present are alchemized into visions of a brilliant future, animated by searing guitar and soaring yet haunted melodies.

Dominic Rubio (@vibekingdom): Dominic approaches music with curiosity, playfulness and soul, a sonic wanderer of terrestrial and oceanic planes.

Riley Magpoc (@toedust): Riley is a vibe, a songwriter, and a multi instrumentalist who has been performing in the Bay for 7 years. He hopes his music will make you fall in love.

Sebastián Medrano (@sabooo_n): peace and love

Demi Alex Ayuna (he/they)

Interdisciplinary

Film & Video, Performance

Demi Alex Ayuna (he/they) is an agender, trans, disabled, 2nd generation Taiwanese dancer based in unceded Ohlone Land (so called Oakland, California). Deon Brown (they/them)

Music and Composition

Los Angeles-born Deon Brown is a transcendent R&B/Hip Hop artist, renowned for his magnetic presence and multi-dimensional storytelling. With comparisons to Kanye West and Frank Ocean, his debut album "HOME" captivated audiences, blending spiritual depth with audacious creativity. Brown's music and visuals redefine boundaries, offering profound narratives on black identity and culture.

Esperanza Cabrales (she/they)

Spoken Word and Print

Esperanza Cabrales (she/they) is a queer Xicana slam poet, teaching artist, and workshop facilitator proud to represent the 209. She can be found trying to create constellations out of cereal pieces and losing their mind over lightbulbs that must be metaphors.

Lis Solis (they/them)

Installation Artist

Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Lisbeth Solis Rico is a self taught artist that creates art about their family experiences, love, loss, and religion. They are currently working on an event/live performance that showcases their loss, through the lense of catholicism and what they have gained through community.

Ann Chen (any pronouns)

Comedy

Ann is an SF based queer taiwanese-american occasional comedian and artist who draws silly comics about life that explore themes of existentialism, identity, and everyday observation from a more lighthearted lens.
