Whether you're riding for recreation or riding to compete, the concept of collection is important to understand to promote long-term health and happiness of your horse. We have a responsibility as riders to teach our horses how to carry us safely and effectively. During this clinic, we will review the biomechanics of collection, helping you understand what your horse experiences while on his back. We will also teach you how to achieve collection with your horse and understand how important it is that your horse travel collected, with his abdomen engaged and his back lifted. This is important to achieve not only in the arena, but out on the trails as well.
This clinic is limited to 10 participants on a first come first serve basis. Auditors are welcome at a fraction of the clinic cost.
