Create your own Monster Workshop

To assist with the smooth running of our School Holiday programmes:

· Please only book spaces for Children attending the activity.

· Please observe age guidelines, these are set based on the activity or providers guidelines.

· If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel your bookings so another family can take your place, at least 24 hours in advance.

Cost: $5.00 per child. (+ Eventbrite Booking Fee $6.61)

Create your own Monster Workshop

Starting with a basic shape, Mark will show you how easy it is to create your own Monster characters in this hands-on drawing workshop, by adding some simple details you will soon see your Monster come alive on the page.

About Mark Guthrie

A Fine Arts degree majoring in Drawing and a Visual Arts degree majoring in Illustration led to working in the UK as a Graphic Artist with ITV Channel 4 and then in animation with Walt Disney Animation Australia in Sydney. Most 2D sequels were made in Sydney, so his film credits include virtually every Disney film that has a 2 or 3 in its title. During his time with Disney Mark continued to work as a freelance Illustrator/Cartoonist, eventually leaving Disney to pursue his career (passion) on a full-time basis; therefore, children's book illustration and newspaper/magazine illustration and cartooning are his mainstay in keeping me in 2B pencils. Publishers Mark has also worked with Scholastic Australia, Koala Books, Blake Education, Pearson Education, Transworld Publishers and Cengage Learning.

While our activities are designed for ages 5 – 12, younger children may require assistance from a parent or carer to complete the activity.
