Inspired by archaeological artifacts uncovered at Smith Court, this hands-on clay sculpting workshop explores how everyday objects tell stories about the peoplewho used them. A teacup can reveal traditions of gathering and community, while marbles inspire feelings of nostalgia, play, and creativity. Participants are invitedto sculpt and decorate an artifact that might be found 100 years from now or an object that captures something meaningful about modern day life. Ideal for ages 12 and older.
