Did you know that the Napoleon Downtown Merchant Christmas Open House is on November 13th and 14th?
As a part of the downtown fun, Soaring Arts will be doing another Raku Class! This time, we’ll be creating LARGE 11”x6” Ceramic Lumninary Trees!
All materials and tools are included and no experience is necessary as several Soaring Artists will lead you through all the steps necessary to glaze your own trees. Completed trees will be immediately loaded into the outdoor gas kiln, brought up to 1800 degrees and then taken out of the kiln while hot and put into a bucket of combustible materials. 30 minutes later, the trees will be removed and will be ready to take home! Come enjoy this special opportunity to be a part of this AMAZING firing process.
And, while you wait for your piece to be ready to take home, you can check out all the other shops and restaurants in town that will be kicking off the Christmas season this night as well!
All ages and abilities are welcome. We do ask that children under 8 are accompanied by an adult.
Due to the size of the trees, this class is limited to 5 people and ore-registration is required.
The class will be held at our main store!
This class will run from 5:30-7:30
Class fee: $60
-You can register by calling the Studio @ 419-592-0535!
-Stopping by the Studio (119 West Washington Street, Napoleon)
-or by registering online under the ticket link!
We are looking forward to creating with you!
