October is getting crafty at the Dana-Thomas House! Join us for two Thursday evenings of creating, history, and a whole lot of “YES, you can make that!”
These workshops are part of our Create IN History series—where local makers bring their talents into one of Springfield’s most incredible historic spaces. Come create something beautiful while making a little history of your own.
Thursday, October 22 | Button Mosaic
Instructor Jeannie Serra of Just for Fun Designs will guide you through creating an adorable fall button mosaic. Buttons, texture, color and a little whimsy come together for a perfectly fun autumn piece.
Thursday, October 29 | Kinusaiga
Instructor Marie Bukovic of Be YOUtiful Handcrafts by Marie introduces you to the beautiful art of Kinusaiga. Choose from a variety of designs and learn how fabric is tucked and layered to create a colorful piece of art—no sewing required!

No experience needed. We bring the supplies, the instruction and the encouragement—you just bring yourself and be ready to CREATE!
