Create Characters and Draw a Simple Comic

Come create your own crazy characters in this 1.5 hour workshop!

This is the 1st class in the Comics December workshop series. No drawing experience, no worries! Participants will be guided in ways to create their own original characters, and draw them out in a simple and effective way. Then, using comic panels, they will learn to bring their character creations into the comics world where they can move, and come alive!

This is the 1st class in the Comics December workshop series. This will be the most foundational class. The rest of the classes will build on the concepts you will learn here. You may take this class alone or take all of them to learn even more!

For ages 8-15 only. All skill levels welcome! All drawing materials will be provided during the workshop but participants are welcome to bring their preferred dry-media drawing tools.
This class will be jointly taught by professional illustrators and comic artists Andrew Tan (www.drewscape.net) and Anngee Neo (https://anngee.sg).

Location: JIN TCM CLINIC, Level 2 No.96A, Lorong 27 Geylang, Singapore 388198. (A short walk from Aljunied MRT station) Please note that the workshop venue is accessed via stairs to the second level, and is not wheelchair accessible.
