About this Event
Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life?
Take a creative pause and reconnect with yourself in this two-hour art therapy experience designed to reduce stress and restore a sense of calm.
Through guided reflection and a supportive art-making process, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, express yourself creatively, and explore healthy ways of responding to stress. No artistic experience is necessary. The focus is on the creative process rather than artistic ability.
This workshop offers a welcoming space to step away from the busyness of life, reconnect with your inner resources, and leave feeling more grounded, refreshed, and inspired.
Materials
All art materials are provided, including paper, paints, pastels, markers, and drawing tools.
Facilitator
Jennifer Kleinsteuber holds a Diploma in Art Therapy from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute and operates a private practice in Vancouver. She is dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces for self-exploration, emotional expression, and personal growth through creative practice.

Art Making
Info: Participants are invited to slow down through a guided art therapy process designed to reduce stress and restore a sense of calm. Following a brief grounding exercise, you'll be gently guided into spontaneous art making, creating freely without a set theme or expectation. This is a time to follow your instincts, explore a variety of art materials, and express whatever feels present in the moment.
There is no right or wrong way to create, and no artistic experience is necessary. The focus is on the creative process rather than artistic ability, allowing space for curiosity, self-expression, and the simple act of slowing down.

Reflection and Optional Sharing
Info: The session concludes with guided reflection and optional sharing. Participants are invited to speak about their creative experience or simply listen as others share theirs. No artistic experience is required.
