Create & Cultivate

When Cocoplum Nature School opened its doors in 2020, we began with a handful of preschoolers and a big dream: to preserve and cultivate children's innate love of learning and the natural world. Four years later, that dream is very much alive and growing.

Today, Cocoplum proudly serves students through 4th grade, and this year we are on the threshold of something we have been working toward since the beginning: our full K–5 elementary school.

We are almost there. And we need your help to cross the finish line.

This year's Create & Cultivate fundraiser will catalyze the final chapter of our expansion, ensuring that every child who begins their journey at Cocoplum can complete their full elementary education here, immersed in the nature-place-play learning experiences that make Cocoplum unlike any other.

What your support will make possible:

• A new school bus, so our students can continue the hands-on field trips to wetlands, farms, and wild places that are at the heart of a Cocoplum education.
• A multi-purpose, mixed-age space with fresh paint and eco-friendly furnishings worthy of our curious, creative kids.
• The addition of our 5th grade classroom — the final piece that completes our vision of a full, thriving elementary school.

At Cocoplum, field trips aren't extras. Bright, healthy classrooms aren't bonuses. Continuity in educational setting isn't a luxury. They are the infrastructure of an education that cultivates liberated learners.

Every dollar raised at Create & Cultivate goes directly toward making sure that the students who are with us today — and the ones who will find us tomorrow — have everything they need to grow from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
