Create an Alcohol Ink Mug - Includes ice cream!
About this Event
In this fun, hands-on class, you'll learn the art of alcohol ink painting — a free-flowing technique where color does the work for you. Simply choose 2-3 ink colors, drip them onto your mug, and turn it in your hand to let the inks blend, swirl, and pool into gorgeous, one-of-a-kind patterns. No two mugs turn out the same!
Each participant will paint 2 handmade 11oz ceramic mugs to take home.
This is an abstract, unpredictable technique — the inks move and blend on their own, so no two results are ever quite the same. Part of the fun is letting go of control and seeing what beautiful surprises the colors create!
Heads up — this technique is wonderfully messy! Alcohol inks can stain clothing, so aprons and gloves will be provided, but consider wearing something you don't mind getting a little color on.
Mugs will need to be sealed at home by heating in the oven — easy step-by-step instructions will be provided so you can finish the process safely at home. Once sealed, your mugs are perfectly safe to drink from, though they are not dishwasher or microwave safe (hand wash only).

Come casual. Aprons will be provided. We will be using acrylic paint which does not wash out of clothing.
