About this Event
You don’t need to be a developer to build a website anymore.
In this practical, hands-on workshop, you’ll use ChatGPT and Codex to create your own working website from scratch and get it live on the internet before you leave.
This isn’t a workshop where you sit and watch someone talk about AI.
You’re going to build something.
We’ll work through it together, step by step:
- Get clear on what your website needs to say
- Turn your idea into a website brief using AI
- Use Codex to build the website
- Customise the content and design
- Test and improve it
- Launch it live using Netlify
Who is this for?
This workshop is designed for business owners, freelancers, consultants, coaches, side-hustlers and anyone with an idea who wants a simple website without spending weeks trying to build one.
No coding experience is required.
What will you leave with?
By 4:30pm, the goal is simple:
Your own working website, live on the internet.
You’ll also understand the process well enough to continue changing and improving it afterwards.
What you’ll need
Bring:
- Your laptop and charger
- Access to ChatGPT/Codex
- A free Netlify account
- An idea, business or project you’d like to create a website for
- Any logo, images or existing business information you’d like to use
Don’t worry about having everything perfectly prepared. We’ll help you turn what you have into something you can actually build.
This is intentionally a small workshop
We’re keeping the room small, so there is time to work through problems, ask questions and actually get things done.

***Please note: Dress Code for the venue is business professional. No jeans, no trainers, no baseball caps, please. To support our venue, we kindly ask attendees not to bring their own food or drinks into the premises.
