Biographies

Kaishun is a London-based collaborative pianist who works regularly with singers and

instrumentalists. A Distinction graduate of the Royal College of Music’s Master’s in

Collaborative Piano, she studied with Simon Lepper, Roger Vignoles, Julian Jacobson and

Howard Williams. Recognised for her instinctive musicianship, professionalism and

reliability, she has a particular passion for song and collaborative performance. A

registered RCM External Accompanist and member of its Professional Engagement

Service, Kaishun also performs regularly in churches and libraries. Her community

contribution was recognised with an award from the Lord Mayor of Westminster in 2026.

She recently made her German debut with soprano Elza Loginova at the

SommerMusikAkademie Schloss Hundisburg, following their selection for its Masterclass

for Song and Piano Accompaniment. Their performance culminated in collaborative study

with Patrick Rohbeck and Daniel Heide.

Mezzo-Soprano, Lucy Gibbs, was Rising Star of Voice at the 2026 Edinburgh

International Festival, making her debut at both the Usher Hall and Queen’s Hall. Recent

performances include ‘Aminta’ in Christoph Graupner’s La costanza vinci l’inganno for the

BarockfestDarmstadt, ‘Belisa/The Mask’ in Edward Lambert’s In Five Years’ Time for The

Music Troupe, ‘Iolanthe’ in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Iolanthe for Twisted Cue, and Alto soloist in

Duruflé’s Requiem for the Oxford Bach Choir. Alongside pianist Jack Redman, she won

the award for ‘Best performance of a song by a living composer’ at the inaugural

SWAP’ra Rebecca Clarke Competition, and was a semi-finalist in the 71st Kathleen

Ferrier Competition. After reading Music at Merton College, Oxford, Lucy graduated with

distinction from the Royal College of Music, supported by the Robert Lancaster

scholarship and the Josephine Baker Trust. In 2025, she graduated from the International

Opera Academy in Ghent
