Mineral Wells boomed in the 1880’s for its therapeutic mineral water, attracting visitors seeking its healing properties.The Crazy Water Festival started in 1980 to honor this CRAZY legacy and has grown into festivities including concerts and ongoing live music, 5K run, Street Art, Car Show, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
The Crazy Water Festival is not only a celebration of the town’s CRAZY past but also a beacon of community support and collaboration. Partnering with local non-profit organizations, the festival serves as a platform for these groups to raise funds and awareness for their causes. These partnerships not only enrich the festival but also reinforces the spirit of giving back to the community, making the Crazy Water Festival a truly impactful and CRAZY event for all.
ADMISSION FEE
$4 per person
This amazing community-organized event benefits non-profit organizations that host all the activities. Each year the funds raised for their service projects directly benefit Palo Pinto County.
Festival hours 9am – 5pm.
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the Festival grounds.
Dogs must be child and crowd friendly and be under the control of the handler on a leash at all times.
Crazy 5K – Race begins at 8:30am
Crazy Car Show – Registration 8:30am – 10:30am. Cars on display all day.
Crazy Crawl – 6pm – 9pm.
