Venture into the wonders of the night sky! Join a park ranger to discover lunar craters, learn to recognize constellations, and enjoy the telescope views of the night sky.
Where: Swim Beach Parking Lot
Bring: camp chair/blanket, flashlight (preferably red light), binoculars (optional), plenty of water, bug spray, close-toed shoes
Reminders:
- Events and programs are subject to cancellation due to weather.
- Please dress for weather.
- No cellphones or regular flashlights in viewing area, as they can disrupt night vision.
- A limited number of red-light flashlights will be available.
- Arrive before dark so you can easily find where we are set up.
- Please leave pets at home for this event.
- Attendance is free with park admission.
- If arriving after 4:30 PM, use the self-pay station to get a day pass.
