About this event
Sunfit Cranleigh, and Oakwood are back hosting the Cranleigh Santa dash at 9.30am on Sunday 15th December 2024.
Children and adults can run, jog or walk 5km, with the option of a 10k route for the adults. This fun run starts and finishes at Stocklund square with the route using the Downs link and Snoxhall Fields.
Every participant will get a bespoke Santa Dash medal and Santa hat to keep.
There is an overall entry cap this year of 300, so please enter early to avoid disappointment as this event sells out quickly.
All funds raised from this event will be donated to Shooting Stars Chase and 3 heritage sites in Cranleigh, the origional village hospital building, the Arts Centre and St Nicolas Church building.
Entry is just £10 per ticket, £45 per family ticket (maximum two adults and three children) plus booking fee.

Frequently asked questions.
Can Children run on their own?
All children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times on the course.
Are there any roads to cross ?
The course crosses Knowle Lane twice (out and back) and this road crossing will be heavily marshalled. Please follow the instructions of the marshals carefully.
Are dogs allowed ?
Yes dogs are permitted at this event but they must be kept on a lead.
Do I have to dress up ?
We encourage you to dress up in Santa hats, Santa suits or other festive clothing although this is not compulsory.
Are there prizes for the fastest runner?
This is a fun run, not a race. By all means be as competitive as you like, but we won't be timing you or giving out prizes for the fastest children, men and women.
Can I wear headphones/listen to music?
Please leave your headphones/ ipods at home for safety reasons.
Is there food or drink available?
Yes there is! Squash, soup and cakes to all participants and spectators and weould ask for a small donation in return. There are also plenty of coffee shops near to the start/finish.
Are there toilets?
Toilets are allocated near to the Co-Op and in some of the coffee shops.
What time does it start?
We will be starting promptly at 9.30am in Stocklund Square. Please make sure you have registered and collected your number by 9am at the latest. The registration desk will open at 8.30am. A mass warmup will be led by Lucy Bushnell from Sunfit Cranleigh followed by a safety briefing and countdown from a special guest starter
Can I enter on the day ?
Yes, but only if tickets are still available entry cap 300, you can enter on the day at the registration desk as long as its before 9am.
