Join us for the first annual Colorado Springs Cranksgiving!!!

Cranksgiving Colorado Springs 2026:

Part bike ride, part scavenger hunt, part food drive, all for our community. On Saturday, November 21, we’re riding all over Colorado Springs to stock up Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado before the holidays.

How it works
Meet us at Red Leg Brewing between 9-10 AM to register. You can ride solo or as part of a team, just let us know when you choose your route at registration! We offer a shorter or longer route depending on your ride preference. You’ll get a list of stops and food items Care and Share needs most, and it's up to you to plan your route! (Get there early so you have more time to plan)

At 10 AM we'll do our grand start and the race is on! Ride the roads, sidewalks, bike paths, or trails to the stops, stock up, and pack it all on your bike back to Red Leg. Then we collect the food items, hold our closing ceremony, and hang out with some cold drinks and good food available for purchase at the brewery!

Ride it your way
Any bike, any pace, any setup is welcome: road, gravel, E-bike, a cruiser with a milk crate, a kid trailer.

The contests
We’ve got great prizes (and some cool trophies!) for:

• Speed: fastest individual, and team, by route
• Heaviest Haul: the most food (by weight) carried back on one bike
• Coolest Bike: selected by our hosts at Red Leg
• And more!!!

What to bring

• A bike in good working order
• A helmet (Required)
• A bag, backpack, panniers, basket, or trailer, whatever you’ll use to haul groceries
• A lock (you’ll be running into a store)
• About $20 for groceries (spend more if you can, it all goes to the pantry)

Good to know

• Registration is free.
• We'll be sharing the bike paths and roads with other folks. Follow traffic laws, ride predictably, and be kind to drivers and pedestrians.
