EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2025Trees for Canterbury are working in conjunction with Styx Living Laboratory to plant an additional 1000 native plants to add to the 40,000 kahikatea trees that have been planted in the wetland area.
Parking is along Winters Road off State Highway 74. entry to site is near 142 Winters Road, with a short walk to the planting site. There will be signs guiding you to the site.
Join us for this community planting and for a BBQ afterwards.
Please bring your own gardening gloves, a water bottle, and wear sturdy footwear or gumboots recommended.
