Our “Crane Wellness Elemental Retreat Series” is a sanctuary for nurturing your nervous system, improving your well-being, and enjoying being immersed in the outdoors with the 2,100 acres of the beautiful Crane Estate. Each event (3 total) includes yoga, breathwork, intention setting, and hiking. We’ll explore historical built landscapes, sweeping views of Castle Neck and the Great Marsh, and quiet woodland trails for ultimate relaxation benefits.
These retreats are not just about physical activity; they are about connecting with nature, listening to your body, and nurturing your mind. It’s an opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in a nurturing environment that promotes relaxation and self-care.
Water teaches us to adapt, release, and move with grace. This full-day retreat is a journey through emotional flow and physical movement. We’ll paddle through the Castle Neck River basin on a kayak, explore the beauty of Choate Island, and pause to take in sweeping ocean views. Let the rhythm of the water guide you toward clarity and renewal. **Note: Lunch is included.

About the retreat leader: With an impressive span of over 15 years, Kate Hamm has amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in movement and wellness. She is a yoga instructor, CraneOutdoors guide, and corporate wellness presenter. Previously, she ran a hiking wellness retreat in Southern California.

Equipment Policy: For the safety and convenience of all participants, CraneOutdoors provides lifejackets, paddles and kayaks for all paddle events. The use of personal kayaks is not permitted for any CraneOutdoors event. Thank you for understanding.

Weather Cancellation Policy: All trips will take place rain or shine with the potential of some trip modifications with the following exceptions: If there is a high confidence that thunder and lightning will be present, we may cancel a trip up to one hour in advance. If the forecast is for steady and heavy rain all day or calls for excessive winds, we may decide to cancel by 5pm on the day before the event. If either of these happens, you will be notified by email with as much notice as possible and issued a full refund.
