Craig John Davidson is a Scottish singer, songwriter, and producer signed to Badly Drawn Boy's very own Record label ‘One Last Fruit. Having been involved in the music scene since his early years, Craig has actively been recording and releasing music since the early 2000s and previously toured and shared the stage with the likes of The Twilight Sad’ Pictish Trail' Lewis Capaldi and Badly Drawn Boy to name a few.
Self releasing his first three albums, "Soaked In Harm" in 2008, "Curiosity" in 2009, and "All In Song" in 2010. These albums showcased his musical style and helped establish him as a prominent artist in the Scottish music scene. In 2013, Craig signed a recording deal with Aberdeen-based label Fat Hippy Records, who released his fourth full-length album, "The Last Laugh," the same year. The album was well-received, and Craig was invited to play two industry showcases in Los Angeles, including a performance at the iconic Roxy Theatre.
In 2015, Fat Hippy Records released Craig's fifth album, "King Repulsion," which was followed by extensive touring of the UK/Europe and the United States. In 2018, Craig completed his sixth album, "Motherstar," which caught the attention of Seattle/Los Angeles-based label Cavigold Records, who agreed to release his next album. However, Craig decided to release "Motherstar" with indie label Kiss My Kunst Records, as well as his follow-up album, "Queen Compulsion," in 2020.
His latest release ‘Tickets To The Sea’ was Record Of Note on Roddy Hart's BBC Scotland show and single ‘Best You Ever Had’ was Single Of The Week on Janice Forsyth's BBC Afternoon Show.
Now signed to One Last Fruit, Craig continues to write record and release from his very own creative space, Cherry Row Studios.
