Join us for Crafty Movies — a special movie-going experience where we turn the historic Canton Palace Theatre into a cozy, creative community hub.
Whether you’re into crochet, needlepoint, sketching, macramé, coloring, or travel watercolors, you’ll love the chance to relax and connect with a community of fellow makers in a cozy, supportive space. Bring your work-in-progress and connect with fellow makers while watching timeless films on the big screen. No open paints are permitted, but we’ve got you covered with fun kits so you can craft while enjoying the movie with friends.
The doors open at 6 p.m, the movie starts at 7:30pm but be sure to arrive early to visit our vendors, grab your concessions, drinks, and craft kits (available starting at $5 if you need one). Fun games and prizes prior to the movie starting. We can’t wait to get creative with YOU!
Movie Synopsis:
Adapted by William Goldman from his novel of the same name, it tells the story of a swashbuckling farmhand named Westley, accompanied by companions befriended along the way, who must rescue his true love Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck.
