With over three decades of passion for creating beautiful adornments, Marilyn is a self-taught jewelry designer who has transformed a lifelong hobby into a thriving second career. After retiring from the corporate world, she fully embraced her artistic calling, opening her own bead and jewelry supply store, Brass Wraps, which operates by appointment to serve local jewelry designers and hobbyists.
Marlyin specializes in a variety of techniques, including wire-wrapping, bead stringing, and macrame. She generously shares her extensive knowledge and skills through jewelry-making workshops held in her inviting store space, as well as at various area art centers. Her dedication to the craft and nurturing of the local creative community shines through in every facet of her work.
