Crafting Through Grief: An Ornament-Making & Remembrance Event

The holiday season is often filled with joy and celebration, but for those missing someone they love, it can also bring feelings of sadness, grief, and longing.

Join Rose & Rae Hair Studio and the New Lenox Safe Community Coalition for Crafting Through Grief, a heartfelt evening of remembrance, creativity, and connection. This special gathering offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where individuals experiencing grief can honor their loved ones, share cherished memories, and find comfort in the company of others.

Create a Meaningful Keepsake: Craft a personalized holiday ornament in memory of someone special. All materials will be provided, and no crafting experience is necessary!

Remember & Connect: Share treasured memories, enjoy meaningful conversations, and connect with others who understand the challenges of navigating grief during the holidays.

Make It Personal: Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite photo or small keepsake of their loved one to incorporate into their ornament.

Enjoy a Welcoming Atmosphere: Light snacks and refreshments will be provided as we gather for an evening of creativity, compassion, and remembrance.
