Crafting For Calm

Join our friendly tutors in our Community Craft Room as we try our hand at a variety of arts and crafts, such as drawing, painting, card-making, mandala art, paint pouring, colouring, scrapbooking and mixed media.
We'll focus on how arts and crafts can benefit our mental health, as we explore different skills, materials, tools and techniques. Each week will have a different focus, but sessions will be suitable for all levels.
You'll learn -
1. How to use art and crafts for relaxation and find little moments of calm in your day.
2. How to use a variety of art and craft materials.
3. How to use a variety of tools and techniques to enhance your creative skills.
4. How creativity can help to boost your mental health.
Please note: You'll need to be enrolled on our Keeping It Together (KIT) Project, 16+ and resident in Greater Manchester in order to access this class/course for free.
