About this Event
Create your very own magical butterfly miniworld display in a glass dome. Mini Worlds are tiny, intricate environments crafted from preserved natural elements and enclosed in a glass dome, requiring no maintenance.
The Victorian era saw a growing fascination with displaying delicate items in glass domes—whether showcasing preserved butterflies, flowers, or small curiosities, these glass enclosures became a symbol of the period’s reverence for nature and the extraordinary. This tradition of creating miniature worlds inside protective glass containers continues to inspire today’s artists and creators, inviting a sense of wonder and preservation.
What’s included:
● One medium butterfly specimen
● One glass dome
● Unlimited materials, including real dried botanicals, dried moss and crystals
Each participant will have access to a variety of materials to fully customize their miniworld to their aesthetic preferences. Join us for an evening of creativity and natural wonder.
