Crafting a Magical Spell Bag Workshop

Join us for an evening of creativity, intention, and hands-on magic at The Dark Arts Potions Bar in Southampton.

In this workshop, you’ll be guided through crafting your own personal spell bag. A small, meaningful charm filled with ingredients chosen to support your intentions. Spell bags have been used for hundreds of years across cultures as a way to carry protection, focus, and desire into everyday life.

We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the history and practice of spell bags, before exploring magical correspondences: how colour, crystals, herbs, and plants etc carry their own frequencies and properties, and how to work with them in spellcrafting.

You’ll then be guided to create your own spell bag using a curated selection of materials, alongside writing a personal petition or manifestation spell to place inside. You’ll be encouraged to follow your intuition and create something meaningful and unique to you.

This workshop is designed to be welcoming and beginner-friendly, while still offering meaningful insight and inspiration for those looking to deepen their connection to magical practice.
