Give your unused arts and craft supplies a new life! Bring in craft items that're gathering dust and trade them for something new. Drop off your supplies at the Adult Department desk in our Tremont Road Branch anytime during open hours, from March 28-April 3 and receive a ticket for the swap. This ticket will get you priority access to the swap between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday. The swap will be open to everyone after 12 p.m. on Saturday. Swap rules: Take only what you’ll use and try not to take all the good stuff.
Swappable items include, but are not limited to:
Fabric and sewing supplies
Yarn and embroidery thread
Knitting, crocheting, and embroidery tools
Craft paper and scrapbooking supplies
Craft supply organizers and caddies
Clean paint brushes, sponges, and stamps
Art paints, drawing tools, and art paper (with plenty of use left in them)
Kids craft supplies (clean and well organized)
