About this Event
Cyanotypes are a photography technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a chemical solution, then exposed to UV light before washing with water to create a unique and original print.
Used by botanist Anna Atkins to study and preserve specimen, cyanotypes are a beautiful way to honor the natural world.
Materials will be provided, but you are more than welcomed to bring your own pressed flowers, transparencies or other objects to experiment with!
Participants will be alotted 1 bookmark - possibly 2 depending on group size and materials.
Tues July 7th @ 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Cover fee of $10 for materials and donation back to YWB!
