This event is free but please sign up to reserve your seat.Join us for the GF History Museum’s event with State Historic Preservation Office Historian Kate Hampton. Kate will discuss the role of Union Bethel AME Church and its members in the struggle for the Civil Rights during the mid-20th century, and current efforts to preserve the building for continued use in the 21 century and beyond.
We will gather after the talk for knitting, crochet, embroidery or whatever Fiber Art you would like to work on! Bring your own snacks/drinks.
