Craft and Crawl: Sew Oldham
About this Event
New for 2026, Craft and Crawl is the perfect chance to meet other parents and carers of non-walking babies, if you're looking for a session which is aimed at the adult but babies are welcome you've come to the right place!
Each session is designed with you in mind, we'll be exploring simple craft activities and focussing on the making rather than the finished piece - but don't worry you'll have something beautiful to take home too. Craft and Crawl is your chance to get crafty in a relaxing environment, there will be light refreshments, all materials provided, highchairs for little ones and a sensory play area for them to explore too.
Oldham Town of Culture special: Sew Oldham - The famous Oldham Panorama photograph turns 150 this year. To mark the occasion, artists Isobel Pickup and Fay Buchanan will be asking members of the public to help recreate it using patchwork and kantha embroidery, while also adding local buildings and landmarks important to the community. This will be your chance to draw and/or sew the buildings that are important to you.
Please book one ticket per adult, babies are already included.
