This event is taking place within the context of the exhibition Art is a Weapon: Revolutionary and Antifascist Posters from Spain 1936-39, on at Gongfu Bao Restaurant, 365 Bank Street, until June 20.
About the Film
Cradle Will Rock (1999) tells the story about the creation of Marc Blitzstein's radical, pro-union musical "The Cradle Will Rock" in 1930s New York City. Featuring a star-studded cast and thrilling music, the film explores the role of art in inspiring revolution and confronting capitalist and imperialist oppression.

- The main accessible entrance and ramp is at 290 Lisgar Street on the north side of the building.
- A second emergency exit and accessible ramp is located at 355 Cooper Street on the south side of the building.
- There is elevator access to all four levels of the building.
- Onsite parking is available, and the venue is easily accessed by public transit

This screening is part of a series of events surrounding the exhibition Art is a Weapon: Revolutionary and Antifascist Posters from Spain 1936–39 organized by the Education for Liberation Collective at Gongfu Bao Restaurant (365 Bank Street). It features reproductions of 25 breathtaking archival posters from 1930s Spain as well as reproductions of artefacts from Canada's antifascist Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion.
