Ready to try your hand at basket weaving? This fun and accessible class is the perfect introduction to the art of weaving. You’ll create a beautiful and functional handwoven basket—measuring approximately 5" x 13" x 7" (to the top of the handle)—ideal for holding crackers, mail, or decor.
In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn:
Several foundational weaving techniques
How to shape and build a basket from start to finish
Tips for tension, structure, and finishing touches
Choose from a selection of accent colors to personalize your basket and make it your own! No prior weaving experience is needed, and all tools and materials are provided.
Whether you're looking for a creative afternoon or a charming handmade piece for your home, this is a great way to dive into the world of basketry.
Class will run with a minimum of 4 students, and a maximum of 10 students.
