CR@PPERS ASSEMBLE 🏊‍♀️ 🏊 Fresh from the high’s of IMW on the weekend, we have decided on a club event for next year and we’re going rogue!! For something slightly different, it’s going to involve getting wet……again……….and again…………and again!
Yes, it’s the Dusk till Dawn 12 hour swim at Atlantic College, in the beautiful setting of St Donats Castle in Llantwit Major, on Saturday, 13th June 2026.
The swim is in an outdoor, 25 metre (not heated) pool, starting at 8am and running until 8pm, with the following options available to take part in:
đź’¦ 12 hours of continuous solo swimming
đź’¦ 12 hours solo as 30 mins on, 30 mins off
đź’¦ 12 hours swimming 2 person relay
đź’¦ 12 hours swimming 3 person relay
đź’¦ 12 hours swimming 4 person relay
đź’¦ 12 hours swimming 6 person relay
It’s a fantastic, local venue with the ability to put up a gazeebo and bring cooking equipment for the day, making it perfect for a social event while still getting some actual “eventing” in too!
Closer to the time when Llanishen Reservoir opens for swimming in May 2026, we will organise some swim sessions there to start acclimatising to the slightly “colder” water, as well as investigating options for one off social swims throughout the winter!
It’s a small, locally run event by 2 enthusiastic gents, so it will fill up quickly. So, don’t delay, assemble your team, come up with your team name and………. JUST KEEP SWIMMING 🏊 🏊‍♀️
