About this Event
For Award Submissions: After you check out, you will prompted to fill out an "order form" to provide the nomination category and awardee name for each award submission. You will then recieve a link in your confirmation email to an online form to provide an award narrative and photos for each nomination. Award narratives and photos are due no later than Tuesday, April 7, 2025.
For Dinner Reservations: After you check out, you will be prompted to fill out an "order form" with the names and agency for each reservation you purchased. If some attendees are still undecided, please write "Unknown".
The California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS) District 4 Annual Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Mountain View Community Center. On this special evening, CPRS will honor outstanding individuals for their professional and volunteer contributions to the fields of parks, recreation and human services.
Please feel free to share this event with those in your agency who may not be CPRS members and make sure to coordinate applications within your agency since some categories are limited. You must obtain director/department head approval prior to your submissions.
List of award categories and descriptions
Each award application will require:
A description of why the nominated person or program should be recieving the award, limited to no more than 100 words (to be submitted via form, after purchase)
One to three photos (to be submitted via form, after purchase)
Each award application will be reviewed by a committee chaired by District 4 board members. Recipients will be recognized at the CPRS District 4 Annual Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
All award purchases are due by Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Early Bird pricing for dinner reservations ends Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
All dinner reservations are due by Friday, April 24, 2026.
