I'm Spencer Porter, a 2025 American Heart Association Ohio Valley Woman of Impact Nominee. I do a lot of work within the community as the publisher of St. Clairsville Living and Wheeling Neighbors, and the founder + chair of local, non-profit Why Don't You Stay Awhile.
I'm super honored to be raising money for women's heart health research. Between February 7 and April 10, I will be partnering with various local Ohio Valley businesses to gather community and raise much needed funds to continue this vital research. In addition to these events I'm hosting, my team of local volunteers and I will be collecting donations through my donation website as well.
I often hear that people desire more opportunities to get out in the Ohio Valley and DANCE... and I agree. That's why I've partnered with Waterfront Hall, DJ D-TE, and local nurse and community leader, Megan Murphy, to teach life saving techniques, while turning up in an atmosphere that houses the vibe that aligns with so many of us while dancing to music that resonates with us! All ages are encouraged to attend, but just know... we're gonna let loose and enjoy our selves... so get ready to wiggle!!! I can't wait to see you all and I'm so grateful for attendance and support! <3
