You never know what you may come across on a run or walk. Emergencies can happen anywhere…anytime…to anyone.
CPR training is essential because it enables bystanders to immediately act during cardiac arrest, doubling or tripling a victim's chance of survival. It maintains oxygenated blood flow to the brain, preventing damage, and is critical for treating choking, drowning, or heart-related emergencies before professional help arrives.
Mel Nichols is an AHA Certified BLS/CPR instructor for Nottingham Health & Rehab in Olathe, KS. In this presentation, Mel will demonstrate CPR and answer your questions. Please note that this is NOT a CPR Certification Class.
We want to help you feel prepared and informed when you’re out on your runs and walks. This is a free event for the community!
Join us for our weekly 3 miles group run after the demonstration.
