Join the College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) for a hands-on CPR certification training workshop presented by the American Red Cross — designed specifically for seniors.
You never know when someone around you may need help. Learn practical CPR and AED skills that can help you respond with confidence during a cardiac emergency.
This certification course is designed to give participants the knowledge and essential skills needed to recognize an emergency, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
What you'll learn:
- CPR for adults, children, and infants
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use
- Choking response
- Recognizing cardiac emergencies
- Coordinating with emergency responders
Upon completion, participants will earn a 2-year American Red Cross certification.

- Thursday, August 20, 2026
- Wednesday, September 9, 2026
- Wednesday, September 16, 2026
