Part One: Formal donation of veterans’ oral and written collections to VHP which includes a special presentation of Necessary Turbulence to VHP.
Part Two: Necessary Turbulence panel discussion and Q&A.
A substantive discussion of how USAFA women have contributed to this country, the intersection with the historic, ground-shifting narrative that is Necessary Turbulence, and why the absence of our narrative from America’s history and thus our society’s understanding of America is distorted and incomplete without our story.
Panel: members of the Necessary Turbulence Writing Team.
Moderator: Kayla Williams, author of two memoirs, LOVE MY RIFLE MORE THAN YOU and PLENTY OF TIME WHEN WE GET HOME, former Asst Sec’y for the VA, and US Army Arabic linguist in the 101st Airborne.
