CPR & AED: Adult, Child & Infant - Eastman Lodge, Kingsport, TN
Our ASHI CPR & AED course teaches participants how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives. It also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations. An excellent choice for the community, workplace and outdoor setting, this training is an important life skill that will provide the peace-of-mind to handle an emergency when care is needed and seconds count. Class includes Adult, Child & Infant. This CPR and AED course conforms to the AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. Upon successful completion participants are issued a certification card good for 2 years. Age 12+. Led by Trauma Nurse and Paramedic Adam Herzog. If you'd like to expand your medical skills further and prepare yourself to more broadly provide assistance in an emergency, we will be holding our Wilderness First Aid class that same weekend at the Eastman Lodge.
