CPR, AED & First Aid Traditional Classroom Courses

This is the double-decker building, next to the old hospital at 503 E. Highland Ave. You will not be allowed to park around the backside, you may park below the double decker building on E. Highland Ave or in front of the old hospital.

We will need to know in advance if there are any concerns, so we can have a plan prior to your arrival.

This course is a nationally recognized CPR & First Aid course, through The American Safety and Health Institute. Certification cards are valid for 2 years.

Spanish Courses: All traditional classroom classes are offered in Spanish to better meet the needs of students. To inquire about a Spanish class, please call (509) 726-6073 as they are on a case-by-case basis.

This method is traditional classroom, which means all training is done in class, approx 6.5 hours.

This method teaches using the “practice while watching” method of learning. The class is DVD based and facilitated by an LCH instructor. The class includes lots of practice time and skill testing upon completion.

This class combines First Aid, CPR & AED and takes about 6.5 hours to complete.

Saturday courses start with CPR and AED in the morning (approx. 3.5 hours) and First Aid in the afternoon (approx. 3 hours). And we allow for a 30 minute break between the 2 sessions.

We do not offer CPR/ AED only or First Aid only traditional courses. If you would like one or the other without them combined, please click the link above to be directed to our blended courses.

Courses will be held at the Highland Campus at 503 E. Highland Ave. To enter the building, use the side door of the first floor, closest to the EMS parking garage.

No refunds. If you need to cancel, you will need to call as soon as possible. You will be allowed to reschedule for the next available course date. But the credit will not be extended beyond 60 days from the original scheduled course date.

**Courses require a minimum of 4 students. Classes may be canceled the Thursday before if registration requirements aren’t met.
