AGRIscapes Discovery Farm is ready to welcome you “Back to the Farm!”This year, our Pumpkin Patch Field Trips will be more exciting and educational than ever, with several enhancements in our popular Children's Garden.
Field Trips will include the Pumpkin Patch, Kid’s Patch, Pumpkin Land, Hay Wagon Ride, Corn Maze, Children’s Garden, Farm Kids Country Fair and Petting Farm, depending on your package selection. Please note, all filed trip activities will close at 1:30pm.
2024 Field Trips will be conducted Tuesdays - Thursdays, October 1st-17th, with arrival times 9-11am every half hour. Check the Availability Calendar for dates. Please note, groups must be 8 or more paying participants to register for a field trip.
Please read the information below carefully as it will explain what we offer, our prices, and answer some of the questions you might have.
STUDENT FIELD TRIP PACKAGES:
PACKAGE #1 - $10 Per Participant
Includes everything in the Patch Area only:
Select One Pumpkin Any Size* from the Field or Kids Patch
Farm Kids Country Fair with Kids Corn Maze & Activities
Pumpkin Land and Sunflower Field
PACKAGE #2 - $17 per participant
Includes all available Field Trip activities:
All Patch Activities in Package #1
Petting Farm
Large Corn Maze
Children’s Garden
Hay Wagon Ride
* Excludes specialty pumpkins
PARENT/ADULT PACKAGE INFORMATION:
PACKAGE #2 PARENT / ADULT - $11 per Adult
Gives an accompanying adult access to all activities in Package #2 except a pumpkin
Only Parents that have been registered by the School/Group may attend a Field Trip.
* 1 Teacher and 1 Aide for each group of up to 25 children will not be charged to participate in activities
Home School Groups/ Moms clubs: Required to check-in as one group. Wristbands given out to lead contact to distribute.
Children with Special Needs: If you have children with special needs their aides will not be charged to participate.
* Adult packages do not include a pumpkin but they may be purchased separately
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
It is estimated that completing all of the activities can take between 2 - 2½ hours.
Picnic areas and tables are available on a First-Come Basis during the day of your field trip and may not be reserved in advance

FAQ's
Is there a minimum number of participants needed to register?
Yes, groups must be 8 or more to register. If you group is less than 8, we invite you to visit us on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Tickets maybe purchased online.
Can Parents / Chaperones attend a Field Trip?
Parents, Chaperones, and/or Siblings can attend a Field Trip if your School/ Group allows. They will need to be included in the reservation number submitted by the school/ group and complete the liability waiver.
What is the Field Trip Length?
A typical Pumpkin Patch Field Trip takes between 2 to 2 1/2 hours depending on the activities you choose to enjoy, please plan on additional time if you will take a snack or lunch break. We request that you Arrive 15 Minutes before your start time to allow for check-in. Field trip activities close at 1:30pm
What About Parking?
Buses and cars will be provided with Free Parking. Directions and information will be provided in advance. Look for signs upon entering AGRIscapes on South Campus Drive ONLY.
Do You Require Liability Waiver Forms?
Yes, anyone coming to CPP including adults, infants, children, teachers/ staff members, must fill out and return the Liability Waiver form that will be provided with your confirmation e-mail. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow those without the completed forms to participate.
What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?
Payment can be made with Cash, Check (Payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation) or Credit Card. Check and Credit Card refunds are not possible.
Is there a Picnic Area & tables?
Yes, and they are available for free on a first-come basis.
Can We Purchase Additional Pumpkins?
Absolutely! Parents and others accompanying field trips often will purchase additional pumpkins from the field. Please see the check in staff to pay for your pumpkins.
