Spend a cozy Sunday afternoon sipping herbal tea and turning beautiful fall fabrics into your own mushroom artwork.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll try kinusaiga, a Japanese fabric art technique, using fabric pieces tucked into a grooved surface to create a picture. No needles, sewing, or previous experience needed.
We’ll create the two-mushroom design pictured above, with warm autumn colors and patterned fabrics. You’ll receive step-by-step guidance and leave with your finished 5 × 5 inch artwork in a shadow box, ready to display at home or give as a handmade gift.
Come with a friend or enjoy a little creative time to yourself.
