Cowfish Dance Battle 2025--> Open to all styles of dance! $500 Cash Prize!

The Cowfish Dance Battle is back! As always all styles of dance are welcome! Pairs will be allowed to compete against solo dancers for prizes. DJ SPOC-3PO will be dropping a wide spectrum of music styles and competitors are invited to take to the dance floor when they are inspired and feel the music the most. So the first round of judging will invite dancers to freely interact with our dancefloor with no time limitations and the second round will allow dancers up to a minute of solo time in the center of the dancefloor to show off their best moves. The final round will again be a freestyle battle on the entirety of our dancefloor, with the crowd asked to line the perimeter of the dancefloor so the few finalists can own the whole floor as they battle it out!

Door is 8:30pm.

$12 entry, $8 advance tickets available starting Sept 18

Sign up to compete the evening of event at the dj booth 8:30-9:30pm.

Two rounds of judging to take place 10:30pm-12:30am.

Final round will occur at about 12:45 with winners announced shortly after!

Freek! Dance Party is a weekly dance party that embraces all members of our community, with an emphasis on welcoming individuals who haven't necessarily found much acceptance in a society that tends to reject people that don't conform to majority or mainstream norms, traditions, or trends, whatever the case may be. Differences and diversity in people and society should be embraced, not discouraged or hated. Our motto is that its OKAY to be you. Everybody deserves the chance to get wild, hyphy, and creative with your weird self on the dance floor and in the world. Self expression and free association that doesn't interfere with anyone else's ability to flourish and enjoy this life and world we share is key. Shaming, gatekeeping, judging, and cooler than thou attitudes are a few of the things we ask everyone to leave at the front door.
