Join Instructor Chris Davis for this one-day workshop covering techniques on painting miniature minimalistic Covered Bridges using watercolor paints and markers. For this class, Chris will demonstrate how to create covered bridge paintings on cardstock in this loose minimalistic doodle style. Chris will also demonstrate basic watercolor techniques. Participants will practice the techniques demonstrated and Chris will help where needed. Participants may practice as much as they need during the time frame and may bring photos of covered bridges to use as reference. By the end of this session, participants will leave with their practice pages as well as up to two complete covered bridge paintings (one painting in the winter season with snow and one in summer with grass and leaves) on 4x6 paper. All supplies for this class are provided. This is a beginner friendly class, no prior experience required.
The techniques covered in this class are excellent for making simple little bridge paintings for greeting cards, scrapbooking, junk journaling, or to frame and hang up!
Date: Saturday March 7, 2026 at Noon and will end between 2pm-3pm
Ages: 18+ (Children age 6+ are able to take the class if accompanied by a responsible adult who is also taking the class).
Cost: $25 ($22 for CAC Members).
