Cover Crops for Cool-Season Grazing Workshop
About this Event
This meeting will be held at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center, 2200 Pocket Road, Florence, SC.
Join us for an evening of practical forage cover crop information and a collaboration opportunity with two local Cattlemen’s Associations! Clemson Livestock and Forages Extension Agents will start off the evening with presentations on cool season annual forage varieties and mixtures, as well as herbicide residuals. Dinner will be provided and participants will hear updates from the Pee Dee and Sandhills Cattlemen’s Associations, the South Carolina Cattlemen’s Association, Clemson Extension, and our sponsors for the night. Thank you to our two sponsors, Carl Coleman with Choice Ag and Chris Stevens with AssuredAg Crop Insurance! Each Cattlemen’s Association will end the evening with their respective business meetings. Pesticide credits will be offered at this meeting. Please register prior to the meeting!
