Coven of the Roses September Esbat
The Coven of the Roses meets in person once a month in Columbia, Maryland for ritual, magical practice, experimentation, discussion, and the shared work of becoming a coven.
These gatherings are not primarily classes. They are where we practice together: casting circle, taking ritual roles, working with the Fivefold Path, raising and directing energy, trying different magical techniques, exploring group ritual, and learning what happens when magic is created collectively rather than only as solitary practice.
Experimentation is an important part of our tradition. We may test new ritual forms, compare techniques, explore different ways of raising power, work with divination or journeying, and reflect together on what was effective, what felt meaningful, and what we want to develop further.
Just as important, these meetings are where coven members build trust, familiarity, and shared culture over time. Food, conversation, reflection, service, and ordinary relationship-building are part of the work too.
In-person coven gatherings are reserved for Outer Court members and are not open to drop-in attendance. For privacy and safety, the exact meeting location is provided directly to confirmed members.
If you are interested in eventually joining a working coven, you may apply for Outer Court here:
