Cours d'introduction au shuffle - Automne 2025

Groupe du mardi : 5 cours (18 novembre au 16 décembre) de 19h00 à 20h00 (dernier cour jusqu'à 20h30) au Shauna Roberts Dance Center - Grand Studio

Pour adultes et adolescents de 13 ans et plus. Certains cours sont donnés en français et d'autres en anglais, mais tous les profs peuvent répondre aux questions dans les deux langues.

Dans ces cours de groupe pour débutants, tu apprendras les bases des deux styles de shuffle les plus populaires: le shuffle australien et le shuffle britannique ("cutting shapes").

L'objectif principal est de familiariser l'étudiant avec les pas de base et lui donner les outils nécéssaires pour faire du freestyle en shuffle. Le cours comprend 5 leçons dispensées par une variété de profs. Chaque leçon commence par une explication technique des pas et des combos, suivi d'un temps alloué pour une chorégraphie qui se développe tout au long du cours.

À la fin de ce premier cours, tu auras une bonne compréhension des bases du shuffle, tu auras appris une chorégraphie complète et acquis des outils et du vocabulaire pour faire du freestyle par toi-même.

Tuesday group: 5 lessons (November 18 to December 16) from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (final class until 8:30 PM) at Shauna Roberts Dance Center - Large Studio

For adults and teenagers 13 and up. Some lessons are given in French and others in English, but all teachers can answer questions in both languages.

In these group lessons for beginners, you will learn about the basics of the two most popular shuffling styles: Australian shuffle and UK shuffle (also known as cutting shapes).

The main objective is to familiarise the student with basic steps while giving them the tools they need to start freestyling on their own. The course comprises 5 lessons taught by a variety of teachers. Each lesson starts by a technical breakdown of the steps and combos, followed by some time for a choreography that builds up throughout the course.

At the end of this first course, you will have a solid understanding of shuffling basics, learned a complete choreography and acquired tools and vocabulary to start freestyling.
