Early recovery is a pivotal and transformative period, and it can bring new challenges for couples. When one partner is working on substance-free living and the other is learning how to support without over-functioning, communication and trust may feel tested.
Recovery does not only affect the individual. It can reshape the relationship itself. Some couples may notice they are deeply connected, yet moving at different emotional rhythms. We refer to this experience as the ‘dissonant duo’.
This three part workshop offers a safe, structured, and compassionate space where couples can slow down, strengthen communication, and begin rebuilding trust in ways that respect both partners.
