I am hosting a musically themed couples wall art session the afternoon of February 8th at the Studio 821 Auditorium. Private couples' sessions will be 30 minutes each.
Theme: Cello - Creating Beautiful Music Together
This is a couples art photo session; the resulting photography is intended to be wall art suitable for displaying in a place of prominence in your home for you, family, and friends to admire.
The pose: Musician with Cello
The cello will be positioned facing away from the camera, kneeling to the floor, hands above their head while the "musician" will be positioned to the cello's side and slightly behind. Non-dominant hand holding the cello's hands, and dominant arm and hand reaching down to play the cello. (a bow will be provided for those wishing a more formal appearance)
Back side nudity required: The person representing the cello will be nude and photographed from behind. They will have two body painted designs mid back using professional water-based paint; As well as two prosthetics body-taped to their back, and strings run from the prosthetic to their hands. (Cleanup of the body paint will only require water and paper-towels.)
This individual must be able to knee to the floor and sit on their heels with arms raised above their head, hands together.
The musician will need either Formal or a Jazz inspired wardrobe. There are a lot of variations to what this wardrobe looks like throughout the years from zoot suits and tuxedos to basic street attire. Your personal creativity come to play here as you decide if you're a jazz musician in a smokey New Orleans bar, or first chair at The Royal Opera House. What screams YOU if you were a famous cello player?
Limited seating: Only 8 couples will be scheduled.
Cost: $45/couple + Model Release. This is a "TFP" session with studio costs and supplies shared by the participants, along with for 'model release' to advertise the service to full fair clients. In exchange full quality Digital downloads will be available for free. Professional lab wall art prints can also be purchase (print cost, S&H, and taxes do apply)
Payment will be needed at time of scheduling. Once your block of time is paid to the studio, it is non-refundable.
Schedule: Sessions will be allocated in 30min blocks going backwards from 6pm. You MUST be on time, missed sessions will not be rescheduled, and late arrivals cannot run late.
I will post in the event chat what time slots are paid for.

Notes:
1. I am NOT limiting this to Male/Female couples. It will be up to the participants to decide who plays what role. Be aware, body tape and hair are not friends.
2. In most cases tattoos are not an issue; if you have a lot of back ink art we can discuss concealment options.
3. Whomever is going to be the Cello, wear loose fitting clothing to the studio and a robe to cover yourself while not in pose. We will not have time for strap marks from bras and underwear to disappear within the time frame of the session. You are free to implement whatever modesty provisions you need to be comfortable; be aware anything encroaching over the back side may interfere with the artwork.
