Country Swing Comes to the Triad! - Adia Dance workshop

Adia Nuno of Adia Dance is making the cross-country trip from California to visit us in the Triad to impart her boundless knowledge and uplifting energy in this exciting Country Swing workshop!
Adia is a nationally recognized instructor and event coordinator in the country dance space, most notably for her work in being the driving force behind the Nashville Dance Fest every year, as well as for her work in developing instructors (like us!) and dancers in fine tuning their craft.
Adia has been a catalyst in the creation of this country swing community in the triad area of North Carolina - the magnitude of which, she probably doesn’t realize. We attended a workshop of hers in October of 2024, as a couple just looking to start a new hobby together. We definitely found one in that workshop, but also so much more. Through this community and through our association with Adia and Kickstart, we have met so many great people who are now close friends who add to our lives in a profound way.
It goes without saying, we are insanely honored that she has chosen to visit, instruct, and support our community!
This workshop will cover topics from basic/beginner through rising novice country swing concepts (which is more advanced then it sounds). In short, the topics covered will challenge and inspire all who attend.
Adia is a master at the art of managing our mental health as well and understands a four hour workshop can feel mentally draining if not run effectively - her approach maximizes the learning and retention, while reducing the stress.
After the event, the two dance floors will be opened up to dancing, both line and swing for a fun night of social dancing until 10pm!
Tickets:
$60 at the door - $50 if paid in advance (early ticket sales close September 15th). Ticket includes social dancing.
