Making her Scottish debut is the solo project of London-based Finnish songwriter Tiia Jaakola. Her debut album Kind Eyes, released November 2025, has been championed by BBC 6 Music’s Stuart Maconie, The Line of Best Fit, Austria’s FM4 and Germany’s ByteFM. Her sound is lush, dreamy DIY pop, where warm keys give way to brooding synths, resolving in the fizz and sparkle of guitars and drums. Count Jaakola, on keys and vocals, is joined live by Paul Rains (Allo Darlin’) on guitar, lap steel and drum machine.
